The Emerson always welcomes artists of all medias to submit exhibit proposals. We are committed to exhibitions that expand our community’s appreciation of contemporary art and address the interests of a diverse audience. We exhibit artwork from recognized and emerging regional and nationally-recognized artists. Our current venues include: the Jessie Wilber Gallery, the Lobby Gallery and the Weaver Room. The human form is one of the most engaging and enigmatic subject matters for an artist to pursue. From the Girl with a Pearl Earring to The Thinker some of the most famous and revered art works of all time are representations of the human body and face. Join us in celebrating the beauty and diversity of us all by submitting your personal representation of the figure and/ or portrait to the Emerson’s summer exhibition.
