Healing A Community documents the effect of the asbestos public health emergency on Libby, Montana, as well as how the community worked together in response to establish the Center for Asbestos Related Disease. The story is told through the eyes of individuals and families suffering from asbestos related diseases and Dr. Brad Black, who has led the effort from CARD’s inception in 2000.

This educational film was funded through the CDC grants for Early Detection of Certain Medical Conditions Related to Environmental Health Hazards.
