Emerson Lawn Update

We can’t thank our community enough for the support they have shown to purchase the Emerson Lawn!

Twenty-five years ago, a committed group of community members purchased the Emerson building from the Bozeman School District with the intent of developing a place for the arts to thrive in our community. It is remarkable that we found ourselves in a very similar situation today with the Emerson Lawn.

Thanks to the outpouring of community support and generosity, the Emerson submitted a last best offer to the Bozeman School District on February 5. We are thrilled to share that the School Board voted unanimously to accept the Emerson’s offer.

By purchasing the lawn, the Emerson will be able to expand our programming and most importantly, preserve this beautiful open space for our community to continue to enjoy. With your help, the lawn will continue to be a place where our community gathers to enjoy live music, be with friends, and celebrate the arts.

We are thrilled with the support that we have received in such a short amount of time, but we still have a way to go. Please consider a donation to assist with the purchase, improvement, and maintenance of the Emerson Lawn.

Again, we can’t thank you enough for your support to preserve this community treasure!
