This Week at the Emerson – 3.18.26

Hello Friends,

Don’t miss these upcoming events:

– SIGN UP FOR METALSMITHING 2 –
Next week, Metalsmithing 2 begins! This three-week class meets twice a week on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6–8pm and is taught by Sally O’Neill. Register online.

– THE PHANTOM CHUCKWAGON –
A final showing of The Phantom Chuckwagon will take place on Friday, March 27 at 7pm. Join John Henry Haseltine as he takes the audience on a journey through place, time, and myth. The hour-long performance revels in adventure, mystery, an exceptionally talented orangutan, campfires, gourmet camp food, and puppets. Learn more online.

– EMERSON ART WALK –
Art vendor applications are now open! We’re seeking local artists and makers interested in showcasing and selling their original work to the Bozeman community. This is an opportunity to be a part of downtown Art Walks even if you don’t have a physical space in the downtown area! Learn more online.

– SUMMER ART CAMP –
Just a few months until summer! Emerson Art Camps run weekly from June-August, Monday-Friday 9am-3pm. This full-day camp encourages creative exploration and learning while playing outside and meeting new friends! We welcome children ages 5-12. View schedule online.

– WE ARE HIRING –
We are currently looking for Summer Art Camp Instructors and Youth Summer Interns!

– NEW TO YOU ART SALE DONATIONS –
Donate your original art to our New to You Art Sale! Our third annual New to You Art Sale will take place on April 30 and May 1! Mark your calendars for this super-fun treasure hunt, plus, art donors receive early-bird access to the sale. This is a wonderful time to clean out your spaces and pass along original artworks that you no longer display! Donations (paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, etc) may be dropped off at the Emerson, across from the Jessie Wilber Gallery, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm. No mass-produced art, please. Email us with any questions or to sign up to volunteer.

With gratitude,
Susan Denson-Guy
Executive Director
