At the Emerson, we are grateful for the generous community support that allows us to serve as a vital arts hub in Bozeman and southwest Montana. More than 250,000 people come to the Emerson each year to attend performances, take classes and participate in community events.

Feedback from our community tells us that art is an essential component of lifelong education and a dynamic measure of civic vitality. To that end, the Emerson’s Crawford Theater, Weaver Room, and Ballroom spaces are in high demand, and our Schools in the Gallery outreach program supports art education for more than 1,200 public school students each year. Open studio art classes and workshops in the Frances Senska Pottery Studio and the Emerson’s art education classroom are popular for students of all ages and abilities. The Emerson continues to connect with the community through special events like Lunch on the Lawn, the Christmas Stroll and Gingerbread House-making and the Garden and Home Tour.

If you would like to support the Emerson and its community endeavors, consider a donation that will enhance our education programs or special events or historic facilities. If you want to contribute in other ways, the Emerson often is in need of various office supplies, art supplies, building services and much more. Call the office for details. We appreciate your support!

Here are some example projects on our wish list, both large and small, that will keep the Emerson looking fresh, updated, and energy efficient!
