SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION

2021 Kids Summer Art Camps

We are excited to offer a wildly creative line-up of week-long camps for kids this summer. Each week explores a different theme through 2D, 3D, and multi-media art projects.

Monday – Friday  |   9am to 4pm
Emerson Lawns, Emerson Art Classroom, Ballroom, and Green Room
Teacher: Emerson Staff
$215 Members/ $240 Non-members
Week of July 5: 4 Days, $172 Members/ $192 Non-members

  • Full Day camps ONLY
  • Two classrooms, with three areas of focus for EVERY camper EACH day
  • 2D Arts, 3D, and Mixed-Medias
  • 10 weeks to choose from
  • Varied weekly themes
  • 3 breaks daily (weather permitting)
  • Friday Art Shows (3:30 – 4 PM on the last day of camp)
  • High School Interns

The health and safety of our campers and the Emerson community is our first priority. COVID 19 safety protocols must be observed by all campers, families, and guests visiting the Emerson.
Masks, social distance, and daily health checks will be observed. Protocols may change.

Registration and Cancellation Policy
  • Please enroll 1 week prior to start date of class. Classes fill up fast! Enroll early to ensure your space!
  • Refunds of 50% are given with cancellation notice of at least one week prior to start date. The Emerson reserves the right to withhold tuition fees for students who do not attend. No drop-ins allowed. No pro-rating.
    • If a student participant must cancel after registering for any Emerson class/ program, the student must provide notification of the cancellation to theEmerson Staff one week prior to the class start date in order to receive a 50% tuition refund. The Emerson will not pro-rate tuition or give credit due toabsences or withdrawal once a class has started.

Emerson staff reserves the right to dismiss disruptive individuals or students with behavioral difficulties without refund.

WEEK #2 YELLOWSTONE NATURALISTS/ June 21 – 25
Go on an artistic adventure through the natural wonderland that is Yellowstone Natural Park.

WEEK #3 EPIC MYTHS / June 28 – July 2 (Full. Please Join Wait List)
Journey back through fantastical stories of mighty heroes and mythical beasts.

WEEK #4 I HEART MONTANA / July 6 – 9* (No camp 7/5) (Full. Please Join Wait List)
Dig deep into the geology, history, landscape, and wildlife that makes our home the Last Best Place.

WEEK #5 FLOWER POWER / July 12 ­– 16
Explore all of the brilliant ways flowers contribute to art, from pigments to inspiring artists such as Monet and Van Gogh.

WEEK #6 MASTER BUILDERS / July 19 – 23
Find inspiration in some of our most creative and enduring artistic expressions, like the Great Pyramids and Empire State Building while exploring the wide world of architecture.

WEEK #7 STRANGE FISHES / July 26 ­– 30
Let your imagination go wild by creating art inspired by the fascinating world of fishes.

WEEK #8 PREHISTORIC ART / August 2 – 6
Explore the evolution of cave paintings, etching, petroglyphs, and carvings as you create your own art making tools and style of art.

WEEK #9 COSMIC COMETS / August 9 – 13
The stars are the limit in this week-long cosmic adventure through color, texture, and light.

WEEK #10 AROUND THE WORLD IN 5 DAYS / August 16 – 20
Take a tour of the artistic expressions and techniques of a variety of cultures around the world.
