  The Jessie Wilber Gallery exhibits the artwork of     professional contemporary artists showing painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, crafts, mixed media, film, new genre, and installations. The Jessie Wilber Gallery is open Tuesday – Friday: noon- five pm & Saturday 10am -3pm. Hours may be extended seasonally.

The Emerson Lobby Gallery exhibits the drawings, paintings, prints, photography, and mixed media work of regional contemporary artists. The show often relates specifically to the current exhibit in the Jessie Wilber Gallery. The Emerson Lobby gallery is open every day, 9 am - 5 pm.

The Weaver Room Gallery displays two-dimensional and wall hung sculpture highlighting topics of regional significance including community concerns, travel, and artwork by students and faculty of Montana State University and our local schools. This room is open to the public for viewing art unless it has been rented for an event.

School tours are often scheduled during our fall school outreach program October - December, 9 am - 3 pm. All exhibits are available for viewing unless the space is booked for an activity. Please check with the Emerson office for availability of viewing art in these venues, 587.9797.

Application Guidelines
 

The Emerson welcomes applications to exhibit in our 4 venues! We are committed to exhibitions that expand our community's appreciation of contemporary art and address the interests of a diverse audience. We exhibit artwork from recognized and emerging regional and nationally-recognized artists. Our current venues include: the Jessie Wilber Gallery andThe Lobby Gallery

An exhibition proposal form is available on line or in the Emerson office. The Visual Arts Director and an Exhibition Review Panel evaluate the proposals. The panel is composed of local artists, educators, and Emerson Board members. In order to best represent your work, all requested materials must be included in your packet.
