Online Art on the Rocks (21+)

Join us in a Zoom quarantine session with random scraps, a bit of glue, and a good eye! The fabulous crew at the Rocking R Bar will kick off the hour with a new cocktail recipe. Then follow Ian Nicoll through an art project exploring compositional basics using supplies you have in your own home!

Required supplies at class time:

  • Ruler or straightedge
  • Scissors
  • Pen / pigment liner / or thin sharpie
  • 3M glue stick/UHU stick/ or rubber cement
  • Cup of water
  • Clear packing/shipping tape
  • 2 sheets of 8.5×11 copy paper
  • 2 images or colorful magazine pages 8.5×11
  • Newspaper scrap
  • Artistic scraps: Newspaper, book pages, photographs, found objects, magazine clippings, paper scraps, etc.
  • Acrylic paint (optional)
  • Heavy card stock back/ watercolor paper/ cardboard/ or canvas
