This class offers in-depth instruction on mid-range stoneware and porcelain clays with hand building, wheel projects, and new surface treatments. This class is suitable for first-timers or people who already have a working knowledge of ceramics and want to increase their skill level.

Eight Weeks, $260 Members/$286 Non-members
Class fee includes one bag of clay, glazes & firing. Additional clay may be purchased for $25 per bag (this fee includes extra firing and glazes). NO production pottery is allowed. Up to two additional bags may be purchased per semester. Only clay purchased from the Emerson maybe used in classes.
Open Hours for Pottery Studio
Hours are posted in the pottery studio. Open hours are ONLY for students currently enrolled in pottery classes. Sessions are $10 each or 5 for $40. Students planning to attend MUST purchase open studio sessions in advance through their instructor or the Emerson’s main office. Please arrive within the first hour of open studio. Monitors will leave and the studio will close if there are no participants within the first hour.
