Kick off your Christmas Stroll celebration at the Emerson!

Join us for free gingerbread house making, live dance performances, and special activities throughout the building. Then, be the first to see Santa as he passes out candy canes and lights the giant tree outside the Emerson’s building before he leads the parade downtown.


Noon-3:00pm-Artists’ Gallery (#106): Make paperchain garland.

Noon-3:00pm- Tripp Studio (#111): Make clothespin soldier ornaments.

Noon-4:00pm- Four Winds Gallery (#110): Make Native American crafts.

Noon-4:00pm- The Dance Center (Harmony Hall): Come to the studio for the Pop Up Boutique. Kids will have an opportunity and pose for a picture in the photo booth area.  Also, enter a free drawing to win Nutshell tickets.

12:30-4:15pm—Constructive Solutions (#223): Make pipe cleaner ornaments and enjoy refreshments.

12:30-4:15pm- Emerson Ballroom: Build a gingerbread house! Tickets are required for this event. Tickets are only available beginning at 12:30pm on December 1st at the Emerson’s event check in table. Parents MUST accompany and stay with their children in the Ballroom

1:00-2:00pm- Emerson Grill’s ECCE Gallery (#107A): Decorate Christmas cookies

1:00-2:00pm- Emerson Lobby: Meet this year’s Christmas Stroll Poster artist, Seth Neilson, and have him sign a copy of the poster for you to take home.

2:00-3:00pm- Emerson Crawford Theater: ‘Tis the Season! A free, collaborative dance performance featuring excerpts of upcoming holiday performances by Bozeman’s three dance companies: The Dance Center, Bozeman Dance Academy, and the Yellowstone Ballet Company.

3:00-4:00pm—Wilder Goods (#107B/C):  Make fiber art ornaments.

4:15pm- Emerson Lobby: SANTA ARRIVES! He will light up the Emerson’s outdoor tree (over 2,000 lights!) on the corner of Babcock & Grand and then board his horse drawn wagon and kick off the parade.
